"Community" in the style of "Parks & Rec"

http://tvshow-onlinefree.blogspot.com/2012/11/community-in-style-of-parks-rec.htmlFans of NBC's Thursday night line-up are in for a real treat. A video is going around featuring the opening credits of "Community" in the style of "Parks & Rec". It is the type of meta concept we could see Abed working on for a school project.
The video currently has over 20,000 views on Youtube. In the description the creator makes it very clear this all about bringing attention to the least watched shows on NBC. He is correct, “Community” is averaging only 3 million views this season. This has prompted execs to put the show on an indefinite hiatus. That means after tonight's episode, "Foosball and Nocturnal Vigilantism", there will only be one episode left before our friends go off the air. Annie and Troy entering their apartment through a window.

Luck for fans, they are a committed and dedicated group. The “Community” and “Parks & Rec” mashup isn’t a first of its type. In the second season “Community” episode the writers mocked a fan staple, Annie and Jeff montages set to soft rock. It is this willingness to incorporate the musings of fans that has made the show popular with their supporters.

Below is the "Community" fan vid making the rounds. How do you feel about? The intro has been cleverly crafted to mimic "Parks & Rec" and features some of the best scenes from the series.

With the fate of “Community” up in the air, these types of videos will become a focus of the fan base. The show, after all, encourages these meta moments. The next step to take is to tune into the show tonight at 8pm on NBC. There are some great returns lined up for “Foosball and Nocturnal Vigilantism”, which includes Abed’s Batman costume.

Will you be watching NBC’s comedy line-up tonight? Or will you be tuning to another network?
